Wafer Biscuits

As a little girl Rachael Speedy always had a dream to create good quality food. At the age of 4 years old she spent many hours in the kitchen with her Mummy preparing meals for the family and learning cooking techniques that she still uses today.

Rachael is an avid foodie and still spends a lot of time preparing food for friends and family, if you are lucky enough to experience some of Rachael’s cooking, it is an unforgettable experience particularly as Rachael's food philosophy is the same as when she was a little girl - fresh, clean and delicious food.

It came as no surprise that Rachael wanted to set up her own food company which she aptly named NZ Premium Foods. As the name indicates, Rachael and her team were only ever interested in creating premium New Zealand food, food that people from New Zealand and around the world would like and enjoy.

Rachael and her team have created delicious food and have appropriately named the range  foodies for food lovers  signifying their love of food.

When Rachael and her three sisters were growing up, her Mum and Dad were given a large tin of biscuits every Christmas from a neighbour. In that tin there were many varieties to choose from. The biscuits Rachael and her sisters battled over and were always the first to be devoured were the wafer biscuits. These wafers were bonded together with a delicious creamy filling.

Many New Zealanders have memories of the mixed tin of biscuits, always given or received at Christmas time.

Rachael and her team set about creating those memories again with  foodies for food lovers Little New Zealand Wafers. These are delicious bite sized wafers and each pack contains, vanilla strawberry and chocolate and they are sandwiched together with a scrumptious creamy filling, just like the old days.

There are 6 individual packs in a pouch - perfect for popping into lunchboxes or your handbag.

The wafers are made in New Zealand using natural colours and flavours.  There are no preservatives, nuts, peanuts or eggs in this product.
